This course will take you through the basics of nTop to help get you started on your journey of exploration of the software. After completion of the course, you will have developed an understanding of the concept of implicit modeling, which is the basis of nTop’s core technology. You will also gain familiarity with key operations and best practices that will enable you to work faster and more efficiently within our software.

The course really does a good job explaining the basic operations, functionality and thinking behind the software. It would be even better if there would be some certificate of completion for documentation purposes.

I recently completed the nTop Essentials course and found it very useful.
The explanation about implicits and fields at the beginning was especially helpful to understand how nTop represents geometry mathematically.
I also really liked the part about how the Notebook works, and learning that blocks don’t need to be in order makes workflows much more flexible.
Having all the keyboard shortcuts summarized in one image and the overview of the interface was also great.
Some topics are repeated in Intro to Modeling (like CAD bodies, Boolean operations, and some of the example exercises), but overall, this course is a great and clear starting point to learn nTop.
