This course will focus on Recuperative > Indirect Heat Exchangers (HEX) – such as Shell & Tube & Plate. The objective is to replace traditional internal geometry with a Triply Periodic Minimal Surface. We can apply the same logic in this course to different HEX applications.

It is HIGHLY encouraged to read through the course before doing the follow-along video/workflow and before embarking on your own HEX design. This course will allow you to get an idea of where we are going, and the logic behind certain decisions and help set you up for greater success.   While we will step you through a somewhat chronological order of the design process, you might often find yourself redesigning certain aspects to enhance or meet performance that otherwise could have been addressed at the onset. This core knowledge will be essential.
