In this course, we will explore how to use data to manipulate designs within nTop.  We will discuss the types of data that can be utilized and how to employ methods within nTop to manipulate geometry and meshes.

Prerequisites: 102: Guide to Meshing, 210: Intro to Lattices, 220: Intro to Field Driven Design

  • Creating/importing data via Point Maps
  • Generating Fields from Point Maps
  • Using Ramps created from Point Maps to manipulate geometry
  • Using Ramps created from Point Maps to refine meshes for simulation
